Visualizing ancient astronomy

The town of Nebra in Germany is famous for its Sky Disk - a bronze disk with astronomical symbols dating back to the early Bronze Age. The Arche Nebra, features a show focused on archaeological finds associated with early solar or lunar observations. These include Stonehenge,
the Pömmelte Ring Sanctuary, the Goseck Circle
and the Nebra Sky Disk.

A new show for the Sky Disk

Based on an existing fulldome show, this film features 3D scenes by Jonas Laugs und painted panoramas by Kristina Gehrmann.
I was lucky enough to be involved in two 3D scenes showing Stonehenge and the Pömmelte Ring Sanctuary.

If you would like to see the exclusive 24-minute show as well as the rest of the exhibition to learn more about the Sky Disk and the rich history behind it, visit Arche Nebra.
